Study Abroad

Study abroad opportunities are currently available to Nashville State Community College students each summer (typically 3 weeks in May, June, or July) through a partnership with the Tennessee Consortium for International Studies (TnCIS).

Program offerings vary significantly with respect to destinations, Nashville State courses available, and travel dates.

All students participating in TnCIS study abroad experiences will receive a scholarship covering tuition and associated institutional fees. Furthermore, a limited number of competitive scholarships covering up to 50% of TnCIS fees are also available. Any student with a completed TnCIS program application ($100 application fee not required to be considered for scholarships) by the priority deadline will be considered for these scholarships. Students receiving one of these scholarships will be notified no later than January 15 and must confirm study abroad participation within 2 weeks of receiving an award by paying the $100 application fee.

Scholarships are contingent on program acceptance, participation, and eligibility and cannot be applied to cancellation fees.
